Your compressor has failed, so replacement is needed. We can install another standard A/C system like you originally planned, but we'd strongly recommend considering a heat pump. It looks the same as a regular outdoor unit, but with a reversing valve, it can provide both cooling and heating—giving you more versatility and efficiency from one system.

Customer had 3 companies out — Horizon, Christian Heating Cooling Plumbing, then us. They decided to go with a more cost-effective system. Goodman 80% furnace with higher efficiency at half the price these other companies tried charging.

The existing ductwork was deteriorating and not delivering proper airflow throughout the home. We removed and replaced the necessary ductwork, installing new supply and return ducts to improve comfort and airflow in every room. All duct connections were sealed with mastic to minimize air leakage and maximize efficiency. The homeowner also received a new Bradford White 40-gallon gas water heater. Due to heavy rust and corrosion, most of the basement's hot and cold copper water lines were replaced to ensure reliable performance. This home is now equipped with efficient heating, cooling, and plumbing systems built to last for years to come.
